He was predeceased by: his father Odey DuBois; his stepmother Pauline; his mother Helen Broussard; his stepfather Maurice; his siblings, Odeon Dubois (Lucille), Lovelace DuBois (Sable), Loiphe DuBois and Verna Sonnier (Neville); his godsons, Keith Sonnier, Mark Sonnier, Duane DuBois and Ronnie DuBois; and his in-laws, Phillip Lormand and Bernice Suire.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Lormand DuBois; his children, Randal DuBois (Stephanie), Nathan DuBois (Tanya), Chad DuBois (Kristi) and Darla D. Foley (Robert); his grandchildren, Kristen DuBois-Hays (Alex Hays), Seth DuBois (Lauren Herink), Janna McIntyre (Elizabeth Garcia), Matthew Foley (Maddy Schierl), Ethan DuBois (Mika Trahan), Evan DuBois, Eli DuBois (Kirby Lucas), MacKenzie DuBois, Laurel DuBois-Rowland (Marcello Rowland), Camden DuBois and Victoria Falwell; his great grandchildren, Haiden and Malia Mae; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Frank A. Impastato, Jr., Emily, Mark Herrin, Rachael, Michael Morris, Jr., Stacey, Maxwell Gumley, Caroline, Dustin Brewer, Margaret and Paul Whiteman; his cousin Brenda Broussard (Rocky); and also Melissa Ernest (Andrew). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510).
