It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Mae Vincent Hargrave of Abbeville, Louisiana, born in Cow Island, Louisiana, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Paul C. Hargrave, Sr.; her sisters, Betty Jane Vincent and Betty Jane Vincent Broussard (Ray Allan); and her nephew Troy Romero. She is survived by : her children, Sabrina Hargrave (Lainewood) and Paul C. Hargrave, Jr. (Barbara); her grandchildren, Corey Vaughn, Jamaica Gilliam (James), John Hargrave, Blake Hargrave and Blaire Hargrave; her great grandchildren, Kodi Paul Hargrave and Kylan Theall; her siblings, Leroy Vincent, Sundee Perry (Randy), Thelma Romero (Dennis) and Marie Miller (Joseph); and her godchildren, Dianna Suire and Shantel Vincent.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory (206 W Lafayette St, Maurice, LA 70555). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
