She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Short and Cordelia Caldwell Short; her husband Stanley Caldwell; her son Stanley E. "Bo" Caldwell; and her siblings, Henry Short, Charlie Short, Jr., John D. Short (Ida), Eugene Short, Nelson Short and Sally Mae Wilson (Oscar).
She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia V. Porter (Leslie J. Clark) of Abbeville and Sherry Caldwell Omenson (Eling) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Chanda Owens of Ewing, Virginia, Brittany Nolan (Bill) of Harlan, Kentucky, Brandon Porter (Kristi) of Broussard and Cody Caldwell of Stoney Fork; her great grandchildren, Evalyn Owens, Emma Nolan, Madilynn Nolan, Ethan Porter, Aubrey Porter and Adley Porter; her sisters, Bessie Caldwell of Harlan and Christine Daniel of Powell, Tennessee; and her pets, Gracie, Molly, Harley Quinn and Annabell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
