She was predeceased by: her husband Leo Joseph Gastal; her parents, Augustine Andri and Gladys Landry Giroir; her close friend John Bennett Trahan; her siblings, Louann Giroir, Rosalie Giroir, Nellie Giroir Fontenot (John), Paul Augustin Giroir and Norman Jude Giroir; her brother-in-law Robert Jacob Solar; and her siblings' children, Neilly Fontenot and Sherry Ann Fontenot.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Gastal Bernard (Louis) of Abbeville; her sister Gladys Giroir Solar; her godchildren, Rosalie Ann Solar LaSalle (Clayton) and Ricky James Solar (Keri); her sibling's children, Robbie Paul Giroir and Heather Giroir LaSalle (Greg); and her sister-in-law Mary Ann Guillory Giroir. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
