She was predeceased by: her husband Rodney Chauvin; her children, Phillip Chauvin and Felicia Chauvin; and her parents, Willie Schexnaider and Nella Bourque.

She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Chauvin (Charlie Dubois) of Erath; her grandsons, Jimmy Moreland of Erath and Evan Gary (Olivia Taylor) of Broussard; and her siblings, Patrick Schexnaider of Kaplan and Barbara Trahan of Kaplan.
