He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasey Paul Broussard, Sr. and Laura Belle Stansbury; his brother Russell Broussard; and his grandparents, Willie Stansbury, Lelia DuBois, Edias Broussard and Ella May Harrington.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Prejean Broussard; his children, Dawn LeBlanc and Kevin Broussard (Amy); his grandchildren, Collin LeBlanc, Anna LeBlanc, Sarah Broussard, Adam Broussard and Noah Broussard; his sisters, Madeline Toups (Walter) and Annette Delcambre (Leonard); his brother-in-law David Prejean; and his nephew Jake Prejean.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A rosary will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home (209 S St Charles St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the UAMS Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute in Wasey's memory.
