He is survived by: his children, Joseph M. Brister, Charles A. Austin, III (Melissa), Stacey R. Cyprain (Gary), Tabetha T. Whitehead (Terry), Leslie Austin and Damien W. Austin; his siblings, Pearlean A. Jamison and Robert Austin; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Ivy, Faberg, Charles, Anthony, Terryione, Wynisha and Lavonte; and his niece Rhonda Williams.
