It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Thomas Tosten Jr. of Alexandria, Louisiana, born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas, Jr. and Bessie Steverson Tosten; and his siblings, Arthur Tosten and Dorothy Bishop (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Sara Hornsby Tosten; his sons, Charles Tosten III (Myra) and William Timothy Tosten (Karen); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Clifton (Cody), Katie Wright (Kurtis), William Tosten and Malcolm Tosten; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Reese, Sadie and Luke.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (430 Jackson St, Alexandria, LA 71301).
