She was predeceased by: her son Clark Ruffner; her parents, David Lucas and Virga Moses Lucas; and her siblings, Willis Lucas, Bill Lucas, Louella L. Cole, Mildred L. Summers and Lena L. Wilbourn.
She is survived by: her daughter Marianne Edwards; and her grandchildren, Alan Edwards, Melanie Dulaney (Josh), Christine Ruffner Babin (Troy) and Patrick Ruffner (Julie). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Pineville (2701 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
