It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elaine Richerson Byrd of Alexandria, Louisiana, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Raymond Byrd; her parents, Lewis Richerson and Bernice Rush Richerson; her siblings, Joe Earl Richerson, Gene Richerson, Betty Crooks and Enola Richerson; and her children-in-law, Lloyd Reynaud and Patricia Beebe Byrd.
She is survived by : her siblings, Alexandria and Yvonne Deville; her grandsons, Steve Reynaud, Greg Reynaud, Ryan Reynaud, Brant Byrd, Mark Byrd and Philip Kempainen; her children, Donald Ray Byrd, Dale Byrd, Sissy Reynaud, Patsy Nell McKnight (Pete) and Debbie Kempainen (Daryl); and her great great grandchild Host.
Due to Covid restrictions, the family requests that visitation be come and go, so that all will have an opportunity to pay their respects. Social distancing and mask are required.
The family has designated memorial contributions be made to Family of Grace, Journey of Faithfulness, 4200 South McArthur Drive, Alexandria, LA 71302.
