He is survived by: his spouse Ollie "Debra" Walding Mathews; his children, Jennifer Mathews, Gabrielle Ross (Bryan) and Frank Mathews; his grandchildren, John Preston Lasyone, Natalie Rose Mathews, Aiden Felix Mathews and Lara Lee Mathews; and his siblings, Sandra Dupree (late Kenneth), Debra Wilhoite (Joe), Randy Mathews, Mary Hooker (Benjamin) and Mark Mathews. He is also survived by family but also a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
