He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon C. Bergeron, Sr. and Beulah Moore Bergeron; and his brother Paul H. Bergeron. He is survived by: his wife Ada; his sister June B. Neal; his daughter Christine B. Drerup (Paul) of Alexandria; his brother David M. Bergeron (Geraldo) of Lawrence; and his grandsons, Johnathan Drerup and Paul A. Drerup, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral - Alexandria (626 4th St, Alexandria, LA 71301). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Greenwood Memorial Park - Pineville (2202 Military Hwy, Pineville, LA 71360).
