She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald James Tate; and her parents, Avey Savant and Esther Guillory Savant. She is survived by: her children, Anthony Brent Tate of Dry Prong, LA, Michael Kent Tate (Shelley) of Pollock, LA, Pam Coffey of North Ogden, UT and Roxanne Speer (Paul) of Wexford, PA.; and her siblings, Burnell Savant (Dolores) of Lafayette, LA, Dorothy Jean Foret of Washington, LA., Eurven Savant and Herman Savant. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ardoin's Funeral Home (717 6th St, Mamou, LA 70554). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St Ann Catholic Church (716 6th St, Mamou, LA 70554).
