She was predeceased by : her husband Rufus Goodman; her son James Charles Goodman; her grandson Charles Anthony Goodman; her parents, Charles H. Smith and Gladys Knights Smith; and her sister Charlene Smith.
She is survived by : her son Billy Wayne Goodman; her grandson Jimmy Goodman; her great grandchildren, Hope Goodman and Jennifer Seals; and her siblings, Archie Smith (Lorraine), Gloria Bell and Shirley McCloud (Mac).
