She was predeceased by : her daughter Shanda C. Cothern; her parents, Doyle Seal and Frances Seal; and her grandparents, Esther Breland Allison, T. B. Breland, Hobson and Nola Seal.

She is survived by : her husband Craig R. Cothern; her daughter Amanda L. Cothern; her grandson Brayden K. Cothern; her sister Melissa M. Seal; her niece Sierra White; and her aunts, Paula Sue Stewart (Leo) and Elsie Freeman (Hubert).
