He was predeceased by : his wife Judy Thomas Farmer; his parents, Bennie Farmer and Evelyn Farmer; his brother Bennie Glynn Farmer; his nephew Ben; and his niece Suzette Farmer.

He is survived by : his grandson Jesus; his children, Chanel Farmer Sandifer, Lane Farmer (Teya), Rhonda Musser (Gene), Glen and Chip' Gulliot (Renae); his grandchildren, Macon Sandifer, Saxon, Oaklyn Farmer, Summer Babin (Chuck), Danyelle Wallace (Adam) and Matt Musser; and his sister Gayla Strickland.

In lieu of flowers all proceeds can be made to Highland Baptist Church.
