It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxie Anna Roberts (Angie, Louisiana), who passed away on October 20, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Hersey Lee Roberts, Sr; her daughters, Nellie Mae Goodloe, Bernell R. Jones and Charlene Roberts; her parents, Terman Mondy and Floretta Brown Monday; her siblings, Hattie T. Foster, Velma Nichols, Grace Foster, Steve Mondy, Oliver Mondy, Freddie W. Mondy and Otha C. Mondy; and her grandson Ronnie J. Simon.
She is survived by : her sister Roxie Anna Roberts; her children, Willie Herman Roberts Sr. of Pride, Hersey Lee Roberts, Jr. (Gloria) of Angie, Maxine Giles (James) of Lufkin, Vernice Roberts (Janice) of Concord, Ernest Spikes, Jr. (Stephanie) of Angie, LA and Kenneth Wayne Roberts Sr. (Clorinda); and her siblings, Luella Jackson of Angie, LA, Virgil Mondy (Olivia) of Angie, LA, Herman Mondy (Ida) of Oakland and Leonard Monday of Angie. She is also survived by three grandchildren, one hundred eleven great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
