We are sad to announce that on March 9, 2024, at the age of 77, Johanna Boxie of Arnaudville, Louisiana, born in Sunset, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph B. Boxie, Sr.; her parents, John Taylor and Leverita Charlot Taylor; her grandchild Adrian Marc "Pop" Encalarde; and her siblings, Lawrence Taylor, John Taylor, Jr., Charles R. Taylor, Majorie T. Landry and Sadie A. Henry.

She is survived by : her children, Johnaton Thaddeus Boxie (Alicia) of San Antonio, TX, Joseph B. Boxie, Jr. (Jennifer) of Carencro, Agatha Linette Boxie (Leonard Adams) of Arnaudville and Kimberly B. Andrus (Garrett) of Opelousas; and her siblings, Joseph L. Taylor (June) of Los Angeles, CA, Gertrude Landry of Church Point and Sharon G. Augillard (Maurice) of Kenner. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
