We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2024, at the age of 88, Wilson Louis Tate of Arnaudville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Bernice Knott Tate; his son Ronald Joseph Tate; his son-in-law Kendall Dressel; his parents, Simon Tate and Leola Stelly Tate; and his brothers, Ira Tate, Leroy Tate, John Tate and Allen Tate.

He is survived by : his daughter Priscilla Tate Dressel; his grandchildren, Lori Marks Granger (Doug), Annie Marks Viator (Hank) and Adam Marks; his great grandchildren, Corbin Thibodeaux, Andrew Marks, Hailey Viator, Heidi Viator and Logan Granger; and his siblings, Louella Knott, Bertha Wilks (John), J. L. Tate and Nelson Joseph Tate (Randie).

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Arnaudville (314 St Landry St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A rosary was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512). A burial was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at the St. John Francis Regis Cemetery (232 Main St, Arnaudville, LA 70512).
