She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Knippers and Sara Brooks Knippers; her former husbands, Robert Thomas Dykes and Sam Martin; and her siblings, William Edgar Knippers, Bernell Knippers and Ann Martin.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Dale Dykes (Karen) and Robert "Mike" Dykes (Sherri); her grandchildren, Robert "Kasey" Dykes, Robert "Nicolas" Dykes, Michael "Scott" Dykes (Amanda), Shelley Dykes Kuhlmeyer and Maryann "Nicole" Dykes; her great grandchildren, Katherine Dykes, Michael Dykes, Addison Kuhlmeyer and Jared Kuhlmeyer; and her siblings, Willie Knippers, Bobby Knippers and Sara Fortenberry. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
