We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2021, at the age of 98, Joel Adkins (Baker, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Yeager Adkins; his parents, James Leander (Levi) and Mary Ernestine Frazier Adkins; and his siblings, Grady Adkins, Roy Adkins and Marcia Adkins Horton.
He is survived by: his children, Rusty Adkins (Ann) of Lawtell, LA, Mary "Ginger" Thomas (David) of Tyler, TX and Rob Adkins (Sandi) of Ballston Spa, NY. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any charity of your choice in Joel's memory.
