He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Edgar May and Jessie Ida Fortenberry May; and his brothers, Wendell Levon May, Harold May and Charles E. May.
He is survived by: his friend Alyne Brumfield May; his wife Alyne; and his children, Lloyd Kenneth May (Chris) of Broussard, Randall Scott May of Baton Rouge and Judith May Edwards (Jimmy) of Monroe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
