He was predeceased by: his parents, George Earl Welch and Ella Borel Williams; his stepfather Frank Williams Sr.; his brother Frankie J. Williams Jr.; and his mother-in-law Dolores Hebert Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Rogers Welch; his daughter Cherie Welch; and his sister Shirley Williams Babin (Norbert). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousin, and friends.
