He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Sr. Chapman and Evelyn Chapman of Patterson; his children, Clarence Chapman III of Verdunville, Sharome Lazaro of Verdunville and Josiah Alexander Swan of Morgan City; and his sisters, Cherilyn Thomas (Gerald) of Patterson, Cathy Dejuan (Earnest) of New Iberia, Barbara Chapman of Patterson, Tammy Benjamin of Patterson and Mary Chapman Wilson (Nathaniel) of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by six aunts, 4 uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews.
