With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Stevenson (Baldwin, Louisiana), born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on July 30, 2019 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Henry, Elosia Wells, Edgar and Ernestine Stevenson; her uncle Raymond Wells; and her aunt Carol Stevenson Brown.

She is survived by: her mother Verdie Wells Mitchell; her children, A'shayla Hawkins of Baldwin, LA, Jason Mitchell of Washington, D. C. and Patrick Robertson of Baldwin, LA; her siblings, Gary Stevenson, Mary Robertson, Wanda Hughes of Jeanerette, LA, Keisha Stevenson of Lynwood, CA, Wanda Teno and Deborah Stevenson of Baldwin, LA; her close friend Sherrise Collins of Baldwin, LA; and her godson Garius Stevenson of Lafayette, LA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and devoted friends.
