He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Colbert, Quintilla Marshall (Wilson), Carol Bowie, Krystall Lofton, Kwan Steward, Michael Merrick, Thaddeus Bowie (Dana), Herby Merrick, Rev Bryan Merrick (Caulina), Demarcus Nathan (Stephanie), Curtis Nathan, Manuel Nathan and Troy Colbert; and his siblings, Cleotha Hines, Maggie Robertson (Matthew), Curtis Steward and Henry Steward (Audrey). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
