It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Lajaunie of Baldwin, Louisiana, born in Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Willie LaJaunie; his wife Janice Bodin LaJaunie; his son Robert J. "Bobby" LaJaunie Jr.; his mother Beatrice Roger LaJaunie Peltier; and his siblings, Gloria McCarty, J. V. LaJaunie and Gail Bergeron.
He is survived by: his grandson Dustin Kirkland; and his siblings, Anna Lee Belaire (Al), Patricia "Pat" Arboneaux and Craig LaJaunie (Sue). He is also survived by one great grandson and one great granddaughter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
