He was predeceased by: his wife Mitzi Anne Burge; his parents, Edward R. Burge, Sr. and Frances L. Diel Burge; and his siblings, Edward Junior Burge, Flora Burge Stanley, Lester Allen Burge, Annie Belle Day, Patricia Maxine Price and Diane Burge.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Rene Burge Dehart (Randy), Andrew E. Burge, James Earl Burge (Kathy) and Jeanne Sue Burge; and his brother Robert Burge. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
