He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Thomas and Lula Mae Smith; his parents, Barney Smith and Hettie Marvin Smith; his son Tony Marvin Smith; his granddaughter Jennifer Courson; and his sister Rheba Isgitt.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Smith; his daughters, Sylvia Wilson (Kenny) and Sandra Smith; his brother Dennis Smith; his grandchildren, Nathan E. White (Leigh Ann), Ashley Cable (Nikki), Donna Nowell (Terry) and Alex Courson (Katie); and his great grandchildren, Skyler Cable, Savannah White, Joshua Courson, Jessica Pucket, Charlie Marvin Nowell, Kalia Perkins, Kayla Little and Raychel Elkins.
