He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Black and Lucile Heath Black; his daughter Cheryl Black Gregory; and his siblings, Helen Carter, Gerald Black and Roger Dale Black.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Pierce Black; his daughters, Rebecca Clark Green (Tarryl) of Leaksville, MS, Eileen McIntyre Jenkins (Steve) of Calhoun, LA and Teresa Rawls Akers (Tommy) of Bastrop, LA; his son-in-law Shelby Gregory of Bastrop, LA; his brothers, Wayne Black (Martha Lee) of West Monroe, LA, Timothy Black (Dollie) of Mer Rouge, LA and Randall Black (Diana) of Mena, AR; and his grandsons, Neal Rawls, Ryan Rawls, Chad Rawls, Denton Clark, Shawn Bice and Ty Gregory. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
