She was predeceased by: her husband David Joe Sims; her parents, Samuel Lee Roy and Annie Belle Murphy Massey; her granddaughter Erin Brooke DeBlieux; and her siblings, Lillian Massey, Thelma Louise Massey, Fay Evelyn Massey, Harold Dean Massey, Gerrie Maxine Massey, Henry Donald Massey, Robbie Lee Massey, Roy Edward Massey, Annie Delores Massey, Hazel Ruth Massey, Hilliard Massey, Sivil Massey, Odell Massey and Sweetie.
She is survived by: her children, Brett Lee Sims, Peggy, David Wayne Sims (Melanie) and Tia Sims DeBlieux (Larry); her sister Paulette Whitehead; her grandchildren, Devon Christopher Michael Sims, Derek Ryan DeBlieux, Dr. Tyler Keith DeBlieux (Kelsey) and Casey Breann Sims; and her great grandchildren, Rielle Sims, Jacob Sims and Jackson Avery DeBlieux. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
