She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Henry Ellis, Sr.; her parents, Houston Harris and Elsie Becker; her siblings, Doyle Harris and Jeannie Hutson; and her son-in-law Carroll Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Thomas, Thomas Ellis, Jr., Billie Jean Sturdivant (Clem) and Hannah Marie Johnson (Elijah); her sisters, Alice Hutson, Jackie Gaspard and Delois Daigle; and her grandchildren, Joshua James Ellis (Cristy), Smokey Michael Hosea (Alexis), Christopher Michael Thomas Ellis, Jacob Thomas Russell Ellis, DeAnna Marie Ellis and C. J. Sturdivant. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
