He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence T. Fontenot Sr. and Yvonne Fontenot; and his son Damian C. Fontenot. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ainsworth Fontenot of Bastrop, Louisiana; his siblings, Mary Alice Wood (Dewey) of West Monroe, Louisiana, Jimmy Fontenot (Janice) of Lafayette, Don Fontenot (Peggy) of Collinston and Paul Fontenot (Nan) of Delhi, Louisiana; and his siblings-in-law, Kim, Mitchell Boyte of Oak Grove, Louisiana, Dale and Misty Ainsworth of Monroe, Louisiana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
