We are sad to announce that on January 2, 2020, at the age of 84, Dolly Sammons (Bastrop, Louisiana), born in Bonita, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Sidney A. Sammons; her sons, John and Stewart Sammons; and her parents, Thomas Buffington and Jennever Madison Buffington.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kevin Sammons of New Mexico, Brian Sammons of Georgetown, Jason Sammons of League City, Darcy Sammons of New Braunfels and Shane Sammons of Houston, Texas; and her siblings, Willie Earl Buffington of Shreveport, Louisiana, Verna Sue Ferrell of Bastrop and Allie Rainer of Monroe, Louisiana. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and a several nieces and nephews.
