She was predeceased by: her husband Vater Yates; her son Ronnie Yates; her parents, Edgar Emanuel Braswell and Martha Lela Archer Braswell; and her siblings, Hugh Braswell, Elma Roswell, Zelma Auter and Velma Seamans.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Yates and Marthann Yates; her grandchildren, Nathan Yates, Matthew Yates, Christian Yates and Karey Yates; her great grandchildren, Daniel Yates, Jordan Yates, Britain Yates, Christian Yates and Lillian Yates; and her adoptive daughter Ruthie Moore. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
During the COVID pandemic isolation at LeGrand Nursing Home, Eunice's only complaints were that her family could not visit her and she could not attend church. She had many health problems, including COVID, which she overcame even at the age of 93.
