He was predeceased by: his parents, Bro. Pat Guice and Marguerite Guice; and his son Jamie Guice. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ann Guice; his children, Toby Wayne Guice, Margaret Claire Guice and Leigh Ann Guice Akers (Shawn); his brother Dr. Les Guice (Kathy); his grandchildren, Douglas Wayne Jones (Cassie), Alyssa Claire Jones, Taylor Brooke Mattice (Dakota), Madison Leigh Jones, Zack Christopher Guice and Myles Patrick Guice; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Hayes Jones, Brantley James Jones, River Allen Mattice and Westin Pollock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
