She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Bankston and Loree Bankston; her husband James Burley Hester; and her brother Vernon Bankston. She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Dale Hester (Tammy) of Monroe, LA, David Bryan Hester and Tressy Acreman of Bastrop, LA; her sister Verliree Fowler of Oak Grove, LA; her grandchildren, Trace Hester (Dnissa), Trent Hester (Amanda), Aaron Hester (Hillary Irby) and Austin Hester; and her great grandchildren, James Bryce Hester, Tanner Blake Hester and Zelda Hester.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital.
