Horace Newton Carpenter Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Newton Carpenter (Bastrop, Louisiana), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris McGowen Carpenter Burgess and John Henry Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gail Bunch Carpenter of Bastrop, Louisiana; his children, Peggy Bolding (Marvin) of Bastrop and Harold Dean Carpenter (Kathy) of Pineville, Louisiana; his granddaughter Ember Michelle Carpenter of Mustang, Oklahoma; and his brothers, Homer Burgess (Eva) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Bill Bunch (Sandra) of Bastrop. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as Mr. Carpenter's pallbearers are Bobby Williams, Dyar Eppinette, Terry Montgomery, Michael Jennings, Jerry Kester, Bubba Putman, and Charles Dumas, Jr.
