She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Cain; her children, Melissa Jan Shirley and Jory L. Cain; and her siblings, Brenda Braxton, Keith Mardis and James Mardis.
She is survived by: her son Jody Cain (Jennifer) of Monroe, LA; her grandchildren, Cody Cain (Lauren) of Pineville, LA, Caroline Flournoy (Mike) of Charlotte, NC, Mary Margaret Cain, Mollie Frances Cain and Mae Marie Cain; her great grandchildren, Carson, Hudson, Camden, Trey, Landin and Collins; her daughter-in-law Denise Cain; her brothers, Gerald Mardis of Austin, TX and Eugene Mardis (Barbara) of Greenville, MS; and her son-in-law David Shirley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
