He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Poston McKoin of Virginia; and his parents, Joseph Eddie McKoin and Myrtle Howell McKoin. He is survived by: his children, Frankie McKoin (Judy) and Gloria Jean McKoin; his grandchildren, Kris McKoin (Ginger), Jason McKoin (Michelle) and Mindy Tessa McKoin; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Gil, Gwendolyn, Fen McKoin, Jase-Michael, Madisyn McKoin, Zuri Jean, Zia Lei Ma of Virginia, Kristopher McKoin, Karson McKoin, Kolin McKoin, Jacob McKoin and Jayden McKoin.
