He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Ann Sykes (Larry) of Fairhope, Dr. Cathy Parker of Mer Rouge and John C. Hickingbottom, II (Amy); and his stepchildren, Joy Reynolds of Melbourne and Carlton Kelly of Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
