He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Vick Green and John S. Green. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Chase Green; his children, John S. Green III and NJ; his stepdaughter Shauna Withers (Jeff) of Natchez, LA; his siblings, Bob Green (Sarah) and Mary "Sissy" Green Bourn (Bill) of Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Hannah E. Spyker, John Williams Spyker, Andrew Grice Spyker, Mattie Louise Spyker, Katherine Ann Green and John Sydney Green IV; and his stepgrandsons, Austin M. Withers, Dustin L. Withers and Charles Houston Bass. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
