He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Larche "C. L." and Billie Jean Shipman; and his mother-in-law Margaret Louise Nutt McBroom. He is survived by: his wife Sheila McBroom Shipman; his children, Sierra Nicole Shipman and Dakota Michael Shipman; his brother Larry Todd Shipman of Bastrop, LA; his siblings-in-law, Sherry McBroom Parsons (Tony Ray Parsons) of Las Vegas, NV and Howard Lavon McBroom, Jr.; his father-in-law Howard L. McBroom, Sr; his nephews, Justin L. McBroom, Dustin L. McBroom, Chad B. Leggett, Shane E. Leggett and Jonathan Beach; and his niece Jordan E. Shipman.
