He is survived by: his children, Kimberley Beal, Kenneth Beal, II and Nikita Beal Shockey (Tyler); his grandchildren, Kenneth Beal, III, Mackenzie Beal and Lily Shockey; and his sister Billie Beal Dodd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, former students, and friends.
