He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bud, Alice Gandy, A. D. and Nellie Littleton; his father Thomas Reed Gandy; his stepfather Harry McCullough; and his niece Whitney Barnes.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Gandy; his sons, Trey Ogima (Tara) and Reed Gandy; his mother Betty Gandy McCullough; his siblings, Debbie Rountree (Jason), Teresa Barnes (Ricky) and Robbie Gandy (Nita); and his nephews, Hunter Gandy, Dylan Gandy and Matt Gandy (Mike Blakely). He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
