He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Wilson Cox, Sr. and Mary Margaret Cox (Hayden); and his brother-in-law Richard Harp "Dickie" Blackwell. He is survived by: his sister Kathy; his brother-in-law William Hayden of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; his sister Libby Blackwell of Mer Rouge, Louisiana; his nephews, Matt Hayden of Monroe, Louisiana, Ben (Meg Hayden) of Monroe, Louisiana and Patrick Blackwell of Austin, Texas; his niece Margaret (John Pruitt) of Monroe, Louisiana; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter Hayden, Betsy Hayden, Mary Margaret Hayden, Philip Hayden and Laura Jane Pruitt of Monroe, Louisiana. He is also survived by aunts and many cousins.
Wilson passed into eternal life on his birth date Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana after suffering a lengthy illness from Parkinson's disease.
