She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stuart Godfrey Watts and Lucille Downey Watts; her sisters, Marion Dawn Carter and Ida Belle Benson; her son Douglas Charles Smith; her grandson Kelly Blanton Payne; her daughters, Joan Smith Hammons (Lee) of Bossier City and Brenda Smith Payne (Jim) of Shreveport; her nieces and nephews, Micki, Dru, Kay, Steve and Tom; and her cousin Janet Rose.
