She was predeceased by: her father Mertyce McCall Waddell; her husband K. C. Priest, Sr.; and her mother Mertyce Helena McCall Milliken. She is survived by: her children, Kanell Priest Speirs, Kindred Charles "Ken" Priest, Jr. and Keith Alan Priest; and her grandchildren, Kyle Lee Priest, Kindred Charles "Kasey" Priest, III, Karlene Noel Priest, Amy Speirs Reid (Ryan) and Megen Miriam Priest. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Golden's Funeral Home (2016 E Madison Ave, Bastrop, LA 71220). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
