She was predeceased by: her parents, William Preston "Pat" and Nola Spillers Byargeon; her brother William "Bill" Byargeon; and her husband L. M. "Mac" McIntyre. She is survived by: her sons, David Cooke of Bastrop, Kenneth "Doose" McIntyre of Bastrop and Lynn McIntyre (Beth) of Collinston; and her grandchildren, Kim Cooke, Christy McIntyre McLeod (Greg), Crystal McIntyre McKoin (Newt), Brittney McIntyre, Brooke McIntyre, Kelsi McIntyre, Mike Cooke (Cheryl) and Ricky Cooke. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one niece and two nephews.
Her sons would like to say a special thank you to granddaughter, Crystal McKoin, the nurses and staff of LeGrand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home and Dr. Carter Cox for taking such good care of their mother and for being there with her during the past several months when COVID kept everyone away.
