He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Tyson and Agnes Hilton Tyson; and his sister Barbara LaNell Yates. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Tyson; his children, Marvin Ray Tyson (Joyce), Cecil Wayne Tyson (Darlene), Tori Ann Bobbett (Justin) and Niki Tyson; and his sisters, Wilma Jewel McDonald and Frances Elizabeth Tyson. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren: eighteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
